My sweet, wonderful, amazing, inspiring, friend Jennie turned 30 a few months back and I wanted to do something special for her. We decided on a girls night in
(partially because Jennie was 8mo. pregnant, but looking amazing as always)!

The big 30 was the 1st thing everyone saw when they walked in and I LOVED it!
It is made from a Christmas tinsel garland (Target clearance).
We simply wrapped wire with the garland and shaped it into a 30.

Black, white, gold, and silver were the colors for the evening. 
A pretty table was set for the party with Crystal's nice china, chargers, mason jar cups,
homemade confetti (large hole punch and gold/silver poster board), and
kraft bags containing napkins and utensils.

Alaina made these DELICIOUS Cranberry and Almond Upside Down Cakes!
Some of us girls made fun party headbands a few nights before the party.

One of my favorite elements of the party were the pictures.
I asked Jennie's mom to let me borrow some family photo albums and I photocopied some pics of Jennie as a little girl in black & white (to go with the theme),
then painted elements from the pictures in gold and silver.
They were a fun conversation piece and a cute personal touch (2 photos below are my iphone pics).

Since Jennie's birthday in in Januray I gave calendars from A Fabulous Fete as party favors.
I love the simplicity of the calendar and the open space for pictures, drawings, or decor.
Jennie you are beautiful (inside and out) & loved.
