If you follow me on Instagram you saw this sneak peak of a gift I was making for my sister. 

So. Much. Pink. 

That's because I made Meg a flamingo themed 30th birthday present!  

With my favorite Martha Stewart paint from Michaels. 

The middle pink is called Pink Flamingo! 

 And I wanted it to be obnoxious. 

 Metallic pink shred helped me accomplish that.

painted egg carton gift

I've been following Amanda over at Be Crafty for a while now and I just LOVE everything she does. 

She posted a painted egg carton on Instagram and I knew I wanted to make something similar as a gift. 

With Easter approaching I decided a hostess gift was the perfect opportunity. 

Because friends who treat you like family and always welcome you into their homes, especially on holidays, 

are simply the best (love you Trammels!). 

Gold everything.

Inside the egg carton I just put some random crafty stuff. 

Twine, washi tape, gift tags, a chalkboard egg (with chocolate inside), felt bow, chalk, 

safety pin, clothes pins, heart ribbon, glitter ribbon, anchor tag, and little page tags. 

Then I glued some scrapbook paper on the top, wrapped with ribbon and yarn, 

and for a card I used a random piece of alphabet wrapping paper I had. 

Cute and creative and easy.... my favorite.

Easter at my work is huge and wonderful and busy, 

so it's the perfect time to send a little treat to my employees. 

And I'm all about simple! 

So I just purchased these Reese's Pieces candy carrots from Target and 

added the cute little tag from I Heart Naptime. 

I had SO much fun decorating eggs this year!

The emoji eggs are my fave! I got the idea from Studio DIY.

little valentine girly gift

Valentine's Day is basically an excuse for me to give or purchase cute things. 

And I love giving my employees fun little treats! 

This year I put together some little goodies for them to remind them how much I love them. 

A Hello Kitty valentine & tattoo, conversation hearts, a pencil, lifesavers, and chocolate. 

All purchased from Target. 

All with cheesy sayings, ha!

Mmmmmmm..... glitter. 

I LOVE these berry baskets from Michaels that I added glitter to. 

And that's that! Put it all in the berry basket with a piece of tissue paper. 

And I need a manicure ;-)

easy thanksgiving decorations

Thanksgiving is almost here!

I thought I'd share some cute Thanksgiving decorations from last year. 

I love it when my friends let me decorate at their houses! 

When I'm bringing the table setting and decorations to someone's house

I try to keep everything simple while being super cute. 

I used wrapping paper from Target over a white tablecloth (also from Target).
My friend Sara (the host) and I used a mix match of our dinnerware.
Then I made simple place cards with card stock and embellished with glitter and feathers. 

For the center pieces I purchased flowers and placed them in mason jars and 

wrapped them with the same card stock and twine. 

And I added glitter to mini pumpkins. 

 Lastly I made a banner and feather garland. 

All set and ready for a feast! 

Sara printed these cute cards where people could write what they are thankful for. 

Sara's house has a huge chalkboard wall which was a fun way to write and
draw things we're thankful for. 

The year before this I made fun chalkboard signs and we wrote what 

we were thankful for. You can check them out here.

I love themes. Parties and gifts are my favorite things to have a theme for.

This is a simple fall themed gift for anyone who loves the autumn season 

like my sweet friend Amanda.

All the gifts had heart tags attached to the item.

Red basket from Target (everything was purchased from Target, minus the coffee cup).

Mini Spatula for baking & cooking (Nordic Ware).

A mug (Anthropologie) for yummy warm drinks.

Pumpkin spice Tazo chai for the pumpkin cravings while on Whole 30.

Cozy Night candle for warm cozy nights.

All wrapped up and ready to go!

pumpkin art for the red caboose

Fall is here!!!!

With each season my wonderful friend Kelli and I chat as to how we want to decorate

her cute shop The Red Caboose, Coffee and Frozen Yogurt. This time we decided to keep. it. simple.

A few years ago Kelli posted a great DIY of thumbtack pumpkins and it's been pinned A LOT. 

We love this concept and thought it would translate well into a cute phrase.

And then we came up with ... WE LOVE COFFEE! 

Basic supplies- pumpkins, upholstery tacks and thumbtacks from Home Depot, 

hammer (just incase some were tough to get in), 

and Martha Stewart paint, and glitter.

Kelli freehanded the words and 

I started with an outline of a heart and then filled it in ... with 200 tacks!

After the tacks were in place I used my favorite Martha Stewart paint to  

paint the stems and while it was still wet I added lots of glitter. This detail is my favorite! 

 The Caboose serves the best coffee in the Valley.... Stumptown Coffee. 

And then Darci and Arden from Beargrass Gardens brought over this ADORABLE pumpkin!!!

Here they are on the mantle in the shop. 

Love the menu pumpkin too. 

But the heart has my heart! 

These tacks have become one of my favorite ways to decorate pumpkins, 

the possibilities are endless!

for the bride to be // engagement gift

My sister is engaged!!! 

I am very excited for her and definitely wishing I was there to celebrate (I'm in Montana and she's in California).

Since I'm not there I decided to send her a little congratulations gift.

Heart candy.

Card from Mum's Flowers (one of my fave shops), thank you cards (Target) because you need to write a lot of thank yous, and a confetti popper (shop sweet lulu).

Wedding magazines (Pacific Weddings and Bridal Guide), heart candies (Norm's News), 

and a pencil and journal (Target) for all the random thoughts.

Cue the confetti!!!
